Lulupu Challenge #41Child's Play

I love shopping at and I do follow their blogs and their amazing crafters for inspirations since I am still learning and exploring.

Below is my entry to their challenge #41 to create something for kids. Now whenever I see the words 'create something for kids' I think of Disney and how it has influenced us all throughout our life. The below card which I created however doesn't depict any specific Disney character however with the theme you can very well guess it, Mickey Mouse it is!

How I created this cute card?

I used the following supplies:

1. A black cardstock paper,
2. Red polka themed paper
3. silver washi tape
4. Die cuts- scallop circles and birdie theme
5. white organza ribbon
6. A stamp saying, ' Make a wish'
7. I outlined with a black pen the borders of the stamped circle.

Voylaaaa!!!! here it is!

Hope you liked it too!

  1. What a lovely card, Shireen. Mickey Mouse is definitely one of the most popular Disney characters. Like the way you have taken inspiration from it.
There's just one thing, Shireen. You have shared the link of your entire blog rather than your just this particular post for the challenge. Please note that in future that you have to link to only your post and not the entire blog because it becomes very tedious for us to search through your entire blog to look for the post with which you have entered the challenge. This is also one of the rules of the Lulupu challenges.

Thank you for playing along Lulupu Challenge #41 and Best of luck!

    1. Hussena, I am thrilled to receive a response from you, I am an ardent admirer of your work!

I entered into this challenge initially, mine was the second entry, this post was main and hence I had linked the same. However, with my new posts this got sidelined. I am so sorry for the inconvenience and I shall definitely abide by the rules next time! Thank you so much!
